Summer Bundles, Moving and Kickstarting again!

Kelly CorbettComment

Yesterday I was taunted by several big cones of Farm Blend.   They are the last of the 2016 Spring blend and I am carefully choosing their destiny until I take the next 300 + pounds to the mill to create the 2016 Autumn Blend.

In my travels back and forth to Massachusetts have found a very special place where I stop and walk Cosmo to break up the drive and stretch our legs.   It is near the ocean and the wildflowers are abundant.  Daisies, Purple Vetch, Buttercups and Rugosa Roses mingle with endless shades of green and the songbirds sing you through the trails and on to the stone beaches.  I have shared pictures before, it's a quiet little place of Zen.

Before I packed the cones for travel, I skeined off 100 -50 yard skeins to create these sweet little bundles inspired by the soft shades of early summer that surround me at the park.  They are fun little bundles of soft hues, and I'm sure I will feel the need to make late summer and bundles as the seasons change and the color inspiration will switch to more brilliant shades.  Grab them while you can as they are a limited edition collection.

My move is almost complete, sheep are content in their foster home, most of my business is packed and will be delivered in the next few days, as well as myself and my shoe collection. :)  I have been accepted into the Ipswich Farmer's Market, the Beverly Farmer's Market and will have my usual dates at SoWa before and in between Fall Shows and Festivals.  I am excited about my new space!  There is great potential there and I will share more asap!

Finally ....in between all this madness I relaunched my Kickstarter Campaign.  I overhauled the whole idea and and downsized it just slightly.  Though I planned the first design to be completely finished by others, I'm okay putting more time into it myself and with the help of a few volunteers.  It's not the work, it's the time involved, but hey! ... I am not giving up on this idea and the response I have seen this morning, after only one day, it looks like you aren;t either. :):):):)  THANK YOU!!!!   Here is the link please take a look and share with your fiber friends!

Thank you for the many kind emails and messages I receive daily, it means so much!
