If there is anything I have learned over the years, it is that art feeds the soul and artists compliment each other, and I get reallllllllllly excited when I find unique buttons or pins or yarn bowls or handmade knitting needles from a fellow artist that compliment my work.
Take for example, the soap from Copper Tail Farm that I include in my Knit Kits. When I was in search of a very gentle, natural, sweet smelling way to wash my finished knits, I thought about how nice my hands feel after using hand-made soap. The natural oils, and the shea butter and the bonus -the goat's milk soap, make the yarn "bloom" and when soaked in the water filled with this soap, the yarn absorbs the oils and and the sweet smell and becomes a truly "loved" piece. It's especially nice with my Romney yarns. You can buy Copper Tail Farm on your own if you like at www.coppertailfarm.com, and flow her of FB ...those baby goats are to die for!
Last Saturday I met Leslie Wind, who creates these WONDERFUL and unique pieces for knitters and handmade jewelry lovers! Leslie is wonderful and unique herself! I enjoyed the day with her and we talked collaboration with her work and my yarns. She sent me home with these three pieces to "play" with in a new modified design of The Slate Island Mobius. Take a look at her beautiful pieces in her Etsy shop .
These two talented ladies are just a few of the farms and artists I wish to represent in my travels with my mobile shop at Farmer's Markets, and Open Air Markets, and shows and soooooooo much more. So here is my shameless plug! Please support and please share, share, share ... only 24 days left! xoxox! :):)
